Personal Background

My daughter and I collect Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House which helps pay for things the house needs and we contribute to the wish list they have.

Each year, our family volunteers for the Gretna Elementary Schools' Carnival where we run the Duck Pond and we search all year for Huge Prizes that we can get at a very good price. So when you see us at Target at the end of every holiday with carts full of 90% off stuffed animals, we are buying for the Big May Event. Kids have labeled us the Duck Pond people.  We have a great time.

I am a member of the Home Builders Professionals group and MOBA, therefore we support the Street of Dreams event and the Parade of Homes.

My husband and I are supporters of Keep Your Green in Gretna. Since we are out of the city limits of Gretna, we couldn't vote on the Outlet Mall decision but we spread the word to vote positively for it. Local Gretna businesses are a large part of our home building business (D&E Custom Building and Design).

I also contribute to local charities, schools, and fundraisers that we feel are important.  We contribute time and contributions whenever possible.

Welcome to Elaine Milroy's Website

I welcome all buyers and sellers to really understand the Real Estate process they are attempting to challenge.  Whether it's starting a process that might take 2 years or something you just want to dive right into and find  something to buy this week, I can help you weigh out all the options to find the best options for you. My experience comes from years of being in the business and working with young and/or established buyers and sellers.  New construction is my forte but with that comes possibly selling a home so a buyer can build their dream home from ground up.  I help guide you to make the best choices. From financing to designing and building a home or choosing an existing home, I help you all along the way.  I'm a graduate from Millard High School and later UNO,  my husband and I are residents of Gretna (rural), we have a daughter and a son both graduates of Gretna, ? and we are involved with many social events and groups mostly in Gretna and Millard.  My dad was in the field of construction and later my husband followed into the construction field. The two became partners in 1993 and continued until my dad passed away which expanded my husbands interests to mostly remodeling and new construction residential homes.  I have assisted in the business since the company began in 1988 and later decided to jump in head first with a lot of encouragement and got my Real Estate license.  So this all has brought me to Prudential which has proven to be a great career choice.  I have met many great people. My goal is to see each buyer come through the front door of their new home and LOVE the choice they made.  I'm patient and will work with people for possibly years or more while they get to their comfortable enough to purchase a new place to live.  Each day is a challenge but I strive to get as much for my clients as I can and insure they are happy. I love what I do and I love the people I get to work with everyday.

Specialties

I specialize in new construction sales. I can help you understand the ins and outs of the process from start to finish. From designing a home, choosing a builder and all the way to the finished product, I can help you be patient, be educated, be budget minded and be HAPPY with the final product.

Professional Background

I worked for a few large companies in Omaha as well as for a District Court until I graduated from UNO in 1993. After graduation til July of 2005, I worked as a Sales Representative for Papergoods and Giftware companies and merchandising vendors throughout Nebraska and Iowa which allowed me a flexible schedule while our kids were still in school. In July of 2005, I took the Real Estate exam and passed so there was no looking back. I started by listing the homes my husband built in Gretna and it took off from there.  I regularly take classes mostly in the field of home construction and customer relations. I think education is an important part of this job to help clients make a more educated decisions on financing, home builiding, health issues, trends and economic factors.
